This is a picture of a cage in the water.

One oyster can filter an amazing 50 gallons of water per day. Along with this, the oyster cages provide habitat for juvenile fin fish. On any given day, black fish babies, toad fish babies, stripe bass babies and 3 different variety of crab will come up with the cage. The cage structure provides safety and food for the juvenile fish. I am working on getting better photographs of the cages in water to capture the mini ecosystem each cage provides.
